הכנס הבינלאומי הראשון למחקר בפירזול וטילוף סוסים ישים דגש על מחקר עדכני ומידע מבוסס מדע שיוצג על ידי מיטב המומחים מכל העולם. הכנס מיועד לבעלי סוסים, רוכבים, מפרזלים, מטלפים, פיזיותרפיסטים, וטרינרים וחוקרים.

הכנס כולל יותר מ-20 הרצאות שיועברו אונליין באנגלית, ויהיו זמינות גם כהקלטות למשתתפים לאחר האירוע.

הכנס הופק על ידי יוגי שארפ שהוא מפרזל מוביל העוסק בשיטות מבוססות מדע, מדען, חוקר, ומרצה מעורר השראה. יוגי שארפ עוסק בהנגשת מדע ומידע מבוסס בכל הנוגע לטלף, פירזול, טילוף והביומכניקה של הסוס.

The first ever compilation presentation of farriery research from around the world

The International Farriery Research Symposium 2022, starting Sept. 10, 2022, will highlight the latest podiatry research by recognised farriers and podiatrists from around the world. There will be 20 lectures with optional live question-and-answer sessions. CPD (Continuing Education) certificates and recordings will be available after the event. The Symposium is aimed at horse owners, farriers, veterinarians, physiotherapists, and academics. Profits will go toward future research.

The Equine Documentalist - the equine podiatry scientist and inspirational horse welfare educator - Yogi Sharp DipWcf BSc(Hons) in collaboration with the most known farriers and podiatrists from all around the globe brings you the first ever International Farriery Research Symposium 2022.  “Farriery has entered a new, more evidence-based era. Anecdote and tradition are now being quantified and we are passionate about science being the base for the daily practice of hoof care around the globe,” said Yogi Sharp. “Finding that science can be difficult, so we are bringing it to you!”

The online event starts on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, and will last 2 weeks. During that time participants will be invited to join 20 unique lectures and for some a brief live Q&A session after the talk. From the lectures, you’ll learn about how the body mass and height influence conformation and symmetry, what are the effects of various shoe clip applications on the hoof wall, how hoof balance affects and is affected by equine posture, what are the modern measuring systems useful to farriers and much more!    A lineup of speakers is Patrick Reilly Grad Dip ERL, Raul J. Bras DVM CJF, Maarten Oosterlink Ph.D., David HallockAWCF Grad Dip ELR, Alex Ridgeway BSc (Hons), Simon Moore FWCF, Wayne Preece FWCF, Stephen Teichman Grad Dip ELR, Robert Shave FWCF, Dave Gilliam Grad Dip ELR, Dr. Kirsty Lesniak Ph.D. and more.

Some of the lectures will be pre-recorded, and others will be live - most of them will be available to watch again after the event. CPD (Continuing Education) certificates with hours of attendance will be available.
